How I handle your information

Last updated July 2026.

This page covers what happens to the information you send through the contact form at calipertakeoffs.com. I'm a one-person shop, so this is written the way I'd actually explain it to you directly — not boilerplate.

What I collect

When you submit the contact form, I collect what you type into it: your name, company, email address, the trade(s) you need counted, a link to your plan set (or a note that you'll email it separately), your bid date if you gave one, and any project notes you added.

Where it goes

Submissions are stored using Google's business tools — the form writes into a private Google Sheet, and email correspondence runs through Gmail. I don't run a separate database or CRM. Nobody else has access to that Sheet or inbox, and your information isn't sold, rented, or shared with any third party beyond what it takes Google to run those two tools.

Your plan set stays confidential

The same rule that's on the main page applies here: no subcontracted measuring, no offshore team, no one else to hand your drawings to. I'm the only person who opens or measures a plan set you send me.

How long I keep it

I keep submitted contact and project information on file indefinitely, mainly so I can follow up or pick a conversation back up if you come back later. If you'd rather I didn't, see below.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't run analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or cookies. There's nothing watching you browse it.

Removing your information

Email adam@calipertakeoffs.com and I'll take your submission out of the Sheet.
